Blue Craft Farm is a pigment farm in its first year of operation, owned and operated by Joneve Murphy. With more than 20 plant varieties, the goal is simple: create color.

Through chemistry and careful cultivation, these plants become paint, crayons, and art supplies. Joneve’s natural pigment journey began during quarantine with limited art supplies and plenty of time. She started with kitchen staples like turmeric and tea, then moved to foraging for walnuts and elderberries. With over 20 years of growing experience, cultivating her own pigment plants was a natural progression.

Through years of experimentation, Joneve has developed a palette of plant-based colors. Products include watercolor paints, crayons, and powdered pigments that transform into acrylics, oils, inks, and dyes. These supplies create naturally harmonious palettes suitable for beginners and fine artists, children and adults alike.

Weekend Schedule:

There will be pigment and paint making demos as well as art supplies for sale.

• There is a large sign and stained glass window at the road.

• Parking is on the grass along the fencelines to right and left as you pull in.
