Chancellors Rock Farm

Chancellors Rock is an environmentally sustainable farm that also supports the native ecology of the Virginia Piedmont. With over 350+ acres in pasture and meadows, and 340+ acres in woodland, we are committed to regenerating the land through the adaptive grazing of our cattle, and protecting habitat for wildlife.

The farm produces 100% grass fed beef from cattle born and raised on the farm, pasture raised pigs, free range chickens and turkeys, vegetables, fruit, herbs and flowers from our French Intensive market garden. Chancellors Rock is also a lodging/event space for small private groups and corporate retreats, with accommodations for up to 20 people.

Products for sale:

• Our farm store, located in the first two stalls of the stable will also be open from 9 – 6 pm, with our beef, pork, chicken, eggs, and fresh vegetable, herbs, honey and flowers, as well as hand crafted soaps and balms.

Weekend Schedule:

• At 11 am, 1 pm and 3 pm, we will be giving a talk about our regenerative agricultural practices at the stable, as well as a guided tour of our market garden.
• The donkey/goat/chicken pasture adjacent to the stable is a highlight for children.
• Maps with plant lists will also be available for self guided tours of the pond meadow and parterre garden.

• From John Marshall Highway (522), near Wakefield Country Day School, turn on Jericho Road.
• Jericho turns into North Poes Road.
• From North Poes, take a left onto Chancellors Rock Lane and head down a mile long gravel driveway, past a stone building on your left, and a house on a hill.
• When you get to a 3 car garage bay, you can park by the garage, or turn left and park by the stable where the farm store is located.
• Our rendezvous point will be at the stable and we will walk from there.
